Description

• Design and ship both net-new and iterative features that deliver consistent value to our customers in one or more large product areas. • Contribute directly to Sayari’s supply chain risk management product strategy and directly influence the future of our services. • Assess complex workflows and create simple, intuitive, and scalable product experiences that improve our ability to support the needs of our customers. • Scope design work and negotiate with product and engineering partners to align around milestones and deliverables that are realistic and feasible. • Articulate design vision, approach, and status to cross-functional partners through storytelling and presenting prototypes and design specs. • Speak clearly to tradeoffs and the “Why” behind design decisions in terms non-designers can understand and participate in. • Collaborate successfully with product managers, product designers, and application and data engineering teams. • Communicate effectively with senior leadership. • Champion our design system and platform standards, and help evolve them through your design work. • Drive team-wide impact through mentorship, helping to foster a culture of growth and collaboration.

Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience as a Product Designer leading high-impact initiatives from concept to execution with a strong portfolio emphasizing your experience designing for B2B products. • 1+ years of product mentorship experience with the ability to empower teams to elevate their craft and expertise. • Ability to excel in a complex problem space and bring clarity to teams through mastery of the design process, collaboration, and communication. • Proven experience in aligning cross-functional teams with a design vision with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate design goals and concepts. • Experience with balancing strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design to achieve simple, elegant and novel solutions. • Ability to translate complexity into intuitive experiences while considering every facet of the user journey. • Experience building, contributing to, and consuming component-based design systems. • Values high quality, well-crafted visual design, and cares about the details. • A mastery of tools with a willingness to adopt new tools and skills as needed. Our product design team primarily uses Figma for design and Dovetail for research. • Curious, humble, and welcomes candid feedback and can constructively give it as well.
