📋 Description

• Perform geoprocessing activities using satellite imagery and related software for the collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of geospatial data • Ensure data quality and audit geospatial products according to established standards • Collect, process, and validate spatial data from multiple sources, including satellites and public/private databases • Develop cartographic products and thematic maps • Provide technical support to other departments in the use of GIS tools • Prepare manuals, presentations, and technical documentation on the progress and results of analyses and monitoring • Train and upskill the team in tools, systems, and methodologies through technical training • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the monitoring methodology and alert production workflow

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cartographic Engineering, Forest Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geoprocessing Technology, Geography, Biology, or related fields • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills • Advanced knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) • Experience interpreting satellite imagery for land use and land cover classification • Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly • Commitment to deadlines and delivery of concurrent tasks • Technical leadership and positive influence • Proactivity and results-oriented approach
