📋 Description

• Keep the platform that supports Open Solutions in production up, observable, and predictable • Build and evolve monitoring for production environments, focusing on anticipating failures • Define and instrument indicators that reflect real user experience • Reduce alert noise and false positives • Maintain dashboards that support technical decision-making • Identify and eliminate repetitive manual work for provisioning, configuration, and operational routines • Evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm as the single source of truth • Develop scripts and automations in Python and Shell for recurring operations • Convert undocumented procedures into executable runbooks • Perform triage, mitigation, and resolution of production incidents • Document and support post-mortems with a focus on root cause and preventive action • Sustain environments alongside the engineering team • Monitor infrastructure consumption and costs, providing visibility for technical decisions • Work with cloud and software architects and developers, sharing responsibility for what is running in production

🎯 Requirements

• Have operated Kubernetes in production: pod debugging, resource consumption analysis, understanding failure modes • Experience with cloud in mission-critical environments, preferably AWS • Have written and maintained infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm, including reviewing others' changes • Have built monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana: creating metrics and alerting rules • Autonomous troubleshooting on Linux: services, processes, networking, disk, and log analysis • Automations in Python or Shell that other team members adopted • Participation in production incident response, with clear judgment on when to resolve and when to escalate • Networking knowledge sufficient to investigate segmentation, DNS, TLS, VPNs, and debugging tools • Experience in regulated environments: financial, insurance, or similar • Experience with APIs, REST, and API gateways • Log management at scale (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Loki, or equivalent) • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Practice defining SLIs and SLOs, and using error budgets to guide decisions • Configuration as code (Ansible or equivalent) • English for reading technical documentation
