Description

• Work directly with the VP of Engineering and the Chief Product Officer as part of the team driving the platform roadmap • Stay up to date on the latest frontend development trends, evaluating new libraries, frameworks, styling tooling. • Setting internal standards for front end development and coaching/mentoring other UI developers on implementation of those standards. • Lead efforts to evaluate component libraries, build and maintain internal components in support of design systems you develop in partnership with our UX team. • Lead and drive the front end architecture and development for a cloud-based platform utilized to build and simulate cybersecurity ranges. • Provide technical direction and set technical priorities across the organization. • Develop features and improvements in a secure, well-tested, and performant way, consistently shipping large features with minimal guidance. • Craft code that raises the standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Advocate for these standards through code review. • Support and mentor other engineers, contributing to the long-term technical vision and grooming/breakdown of work.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on front end technologies • Advanced experience building Single Page Applications (SPA),with Typescript, React.js, and related front end tooling options such as Next.JS, Tailwind CSS, Vite, and various charting libraries and frameworks • Proficiency with on-prem and cloud environments • Experience with backend technologies and working with distributed teams • Low ego engineer with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies and comfortable leading, driving, and delegating work
