• Support Engineer at Snowplow • Highly technical, data-savvy and data-driven • 24x7 support for global customer base • Working with people from across the globe • Demanding and varied role • Opportunity to work with a huge range of technologies and become a specialist over time • Supporting a technology stack with multiple external dependencies • Critical mission of keeping customers' event pipelines running robustly and helping them extract value from real-time event data • Flexible on location, specifically looking to hire in Greece • Coverage needed for Saturday - Wednesday UTC +2 (approximate working hours 9am - 5:30pm local) • Investment in training for potential hires

Requirements

• Problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate with customers and provide technical support with empathy • Analytical mind • Calm and flexible in a crisis • Passionate about programming, web development, and web apps • Knowledge and love for UNIX and Linux • Proficient in JavaScript • Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS and GCP • Qualification in Computer Science, data-related degree, coding boot camp, or equivalent • Mature and curious attitude towards security, documentation, and process • Knowledge of SQL is a plus • Strong communication and customer service skills • Innovative and effective • Keen to learn and grow in technical support role
