Description

• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers

Requirements

• Entry level work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role • Good knowledge of Python or Bash scripting • Working knowledge of databases and SQL • Should have knowledge of Docker • Basic understanding of infrastructure as code and configuration management tool like Ansible and Terraform • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools • Basic understanding of web servers, firewalls, SSL and web security • understanding of CI/CD pipeline • Should be familiar with AWS cloud platforms • Certification would be a plus point • Should be well versed in Linux systems • Good to have knowledge of Advanced Networking
