Description

• As a full-stack engineer on our team, you'll play a critical role in developing and improving the products and tools used by our finance and engineering teams to optimize our cloud utilization. Our work directly and measurably impacts the productivity and satisfaction of Stripe's engineers. Striving for greater efficiency within Stripe's platforms, without compromising on performance, latency, or reliability, presents an exciting challenge.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of engineering experience shipping high quality products with an entrepreneurial mindset • Hands-on experience with relevant programming languages and big data technologies (e.g., Python, Scala, Java, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark) • Experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) • You work very well cross-functionally, and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs • You have great product taste and a track record of taking complex problems and solving them elegantly • You are capable of working in ambiguous fast-moving environments and have a curiosity to learn the domain to a deep level • You thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
