From enabling companies to flourish, to helping careers bloom. • SupportNinja was founded in 2015 to help companies solve for scale and connect them with a wider world of talent. • The Business Development Representative is responsible for contacting leads, understanding their environment, suggesting products and services, or setting up a conversation with the lead and the Sales team for more complex sales. • This role contributes to the overall growth of the organization by generating quality leads and engaging effectively with prospects. • Respond promptly and professionally to all new business opportunities inquiries via phone, email, or chat. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets and industries. • Generate high-quality leads through various channels, including cold calling, email, social media and other networking events and platforms. • Evaluate leads and opportunities to determine their fit with the organization’s target client and ensure they meet minimum criteria. • Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their needs, challenges and objectives. • Conduct in-depth research to create a solid understanding of the organization’s products/services and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients. • Foster a collaborative environment with clients showcasing partnership, communication and engaging conversations on a frequent basis. • Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs. • Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules. • Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve customer issues. • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Previous sales, lead generation, business development representative experience or equivalent • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Strong Negotiation skills • Proficient in using computers and various software applications • Previous experience in the call center environment (helpful, but not required) • Experience with SaaS subscription-based sales (helpful, but not required) • Experience supporting customers via phone calls, chat and email (helpful, but not required) • Familiar with CRM systems and practices (helpful, but not required)
