• Build products that delight customers • Contribute significantly to building a Connected Transit Platform • Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing product features • Enhance Onboard App experience for bus operators and transit professionals • Provide real-time feedback directly to operators • Help mitigate on-time performance issues and inform operators of service corrections • Improve passenger satisfaction and service reliability

Requirements

• Excited to be part of a mission-driven company • 5+ years of application development experience with Android frameworks • Proficient in Java/Kotlin for Android development • Proficient in Node.js, Typescript • Experience with Google Play deployments • Experience in mobile design patterns (MVVM), building mobile frameworks/SDKs, custom UX widgets, optimizing app performance • Experience with building map-based experiences, real-time communication tools, connecting applications to devices via Bluetooth • Love applying technology to solve real problems for customers • Bonus: Familiar with Vue.js, Cordova, Python/JupyterHub, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL • Bonus: Built end-to-end applications across frontend, backend, and database layers • Embrace continuous learning and adaptability • Dynamic team player who seeks to make valuable contributions and support team goals • Open to feedback, humility in technical debates, participate in postmortems
