Description

• Staff Writer, Datamation is responsible for creating high-quality, authoritative content for technology buyers and related professionals with a focus on data in enterprise environments, including technology, storage methods, analytics, data architecture, data governance, data modeling, and data management. Successful candidate/s will work closely with our Managing Editor and Director of Content and work collaboratively with other content team members.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience writing about IT/enterprise tech (product reviews, services comparison, best practices, how-to’s) • Previous data-specific research and writing experience and can share samples of your work, or work experience in a related field or environment • Knowledge of data-related concepts and technologies (data pipelines, data models, data security, data management, data lakes/fabrics/warehouses, etc…) • Strong research skills and the ability to add contextual analysis to research • Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail • Excellent writing skills • Highly collaborative and organized • Loves finding ways to keep operations efficient while not letting quality suffer • Self-motivated and able to manage your time with little oversight • Open to feedback and strive to learn something new every day • Passionate about delivering the best answers to people’s questions • Comfortable working in a startup environment where things change quickly • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
