Description

• Conducts research for initiatives and provides relevant content for a variety of stakeholders • Distills complex topics into plain language for a variety of audiences/stakeholders • Creates strategic UX copy across various platforms • Collaborates with executive teams and IT groups to improve and test new content • Repurposes content for a variety of audiences/stakeholders and uses • Performs quality control of content • Translates complex data into user-friendly text for print and electronic publications • Selects or recommends use of layouts, graphics, drawings, tables, exhibits, illustrations, charts, or storyboards to amplify or clarify publications objectives • Edits narrative and graphic products to identify and correct grammatical formatting and logic errors and to identify logical inconsistencies • Establishes processes and materials to build knowledge sharing based on how information flows from products/product line managers and across the organization

Requirements

• Experience in editing narrative and graphic products • Experience in using word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and scheduling tools • Experience in meeting with authors and other team representatives to review documents and provide final published documentation • Demonstrated ability to explain complex scientific and technical ideas in simple language • Proven experience in creating, editing, or improving briefings and visual materials • Advanced writing and editing skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation • Bachelors in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education) • 10+ years of experience
