Description

• This role will work closely with the editorial team to enhance articles, social media, newsletters and audio experiences with custom artwork and templates. • Daily-basis: Use photos, type and vector elements to create bespoke hero images for stories and social posts. • Monthly-basis: Maintain and audit a library of editorial and social templates, creating new templates when needed. • Project-basis: Commission freelance illustrators to create original artwork for podcasts.

Requirements

• 1-4 years design experience in a newsroom, agency or other relevant industry. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc.). • Ability to manage your time across several workstreams. • Data visualization and/or motion design skills are a plus.
