📋 Description

• Support day-to-day financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting • Review, code, and post incoming and outgoing invoices with meticulous attention to detail • Perform intercompany reconciliations and settlements between group entities • Administer payment transactions • Actively support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement • Maintain and prepare monthly reporting, including commentary on management accounts (BWA) • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and derive appropriate business measures • Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports, and liquidity overviews for internal and external stakeholders • Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities • Contribute to the finance team across multiple entities, processing approximately 150,000 transactions per year

🎯 Requirements

• Solid professional experience in accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting—ideally in a multi-entity environment or in a role with broad individual responsibility • Experience with detailed invoice review and coding • Strong understanding of financial statements prepared in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), ideally with experience supporting annual financial statement preparation • Controlling expertise, including the ability to derive KPIs, forecasts, and business measures • Proficiency in DATEV is required • Advanced Excel skills • Fast learner with a high degree of independence and strong attention to detail • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, with strong negotiating proficiency • Initial experience with BI tools and building reporting structures from the ground up (a plus) • Background in hospitality, real estate, or a multi-entity setup (a plus) • Interest in automation and process optimization, including API integrations and automated posting (a plus)
