📋 Description

• Take full ownership of and play a key role in shaping controlling activities • Support the finance team across multiple entities, handling approximately 150,000 transactions per year • Analyze figures and variances and provide a sound basis for decision-making • Perform thorough, detail-oriented ongoing bookkeeping down to the individual-document level • Work directly with the CFO • Build reporting and controlling structures from the ground up • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and derive appropriate business measures • Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports, and liquidity overviews for internal and external stakeholders • Maintain and implement monthly reporting, including commentary on BWA management reports • Actively support upcoming annual financial statements under the German Commercial Code (HGB), including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement • Contribute to ongoing financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed-asset accounting • Review, code, and post incoming and outgoing invoices • Perform intercompany reconciliations and settlements between entities • Administer payment transactions • Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a multi-entity environment or in a role involving broad end-to-end responsibility • Strong controlling expertise, including deriving KPIs, forecasts, and business measures from financial data and independently building reporting structures • Solid experience in accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting • Experience with detailed invoice review and account coding • Thorough understanding of financial statements prepared under the German Commercial Code (HGB), ideally with experience supporting annual financial statements • Proficiency in DATEV is required • Advanced Excel skills • Quick learner with a high degree of independence and a strong eye for detail • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken • Initial experience with BI tools and building reporting structures from the ground up is a plus • Background in hospitality, real estate, or a multi-entity setup is a plus • Interest in automation and process optimization, including API integrations and automated posting, is a plus
