📋 Description

• Complete accurate quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents. • Prepare estimates covering labour, materials, subcontractors, and construction costs. • Review plans and documentation to identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and cost risks. • Manage supplier and subcontractor quotations, including requests, reviews, follow-ups, and pricing clarification. • Maintain accurate estimating data, rates, quotations, and project records using Databuild. • Prepare and process purchase orders, variations, and estimate revisions in line with approved project requirements. • Collaborate with drafting, development, construction, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-documented estimates.

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. • Proven experience as a Residential Construction Estimator, particularly in medium-density or volume-building projects. • Hands-on experience with quantity take-offs, estimating, supplier quotations, and purchase orders. • Strong working knowledge of Databuild is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and sequencing. • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools, Microsoft Office, and Outlook, with strong numerical accuracy. • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
