• Handle Regional and company-wide large property losses • Determine exposure, evaluate the loss, and bring about timely resolution • Provide exceptional customer service and control expenses • Serve as the CAT Coordinator for designated catastrophes • Review claims to determine nature and severity • Conduct investigations to identify risks/exposures • Communicate with insureds, claimants, and other relevant parties • Manage claim functions and documentation within claims management system • Prepare claim files for arbitration and litigation management
• 10+ years of multi-line claims experience • High school diploma; 2 or 4 year degree preferred • Certifications/Designations: AIC, SCLA, CCLA and PCLA of the AEI series to be completed within 3 years if not already obtained. CPCU preferred. • Meet the appropriate state licensing laws required to handle 'multi-line' claims.
