• Hands-on software engineering role • Lead the software engineering side of a small bootstrapped, distributed company • Build a pleasant work environment and sustainable business • Focus on building Pixie, a SaaS for accountancy firms • Potential to expand into other professional services • Direct line to customers • As part of the leadership team, be exposed to different aspects of the business.

Requirements

• Ruby on Rails 5, Sidekiq, Omniauth + Devise, RSpec, Capybara, Apartment • AWS infrastructure: EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, Elasticache, etc. • PostgreSQL 10+, Redis • Git, Gitlab • Email standards and protocols • RESTful APIs • Vue.js or React experience is a bonus • Comfortable with working on a distributed team • Self-driven, proactive, and curious mindset • Alignment with the company's values
