Description
• Perform security assessments of applications to identify vulnerabilities • Carry out regular security testing, including penetration testing and code reviews • Assist in designing security controls into the software development process • Participate in the incident response process • Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices • Document identified vulnerabilities and post-incident reports
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field • At least 3-5 years of experience in application security or software development • Strong understanding of web application security and familiarity with vulnerabilities and countermeasures • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar • CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certifications will be advantageous • Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and guidelines
