📋 Description

• Own the month-end close for a defined cluster of entities • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items • Ensure revenue and cost recognition entries comply with accounting policies • Support delivery of the close pack within 10 working days of month end • Maintain the general ledger in Xero • Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and recharges • Support group consolidation by ensuring entity data is accurate and submitted on time • Process vendor invoices and coordinate payment runs • Track outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue balances, and reconcile AR ledgers • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve vendor disputes • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and support treasury activities • Post payroll journals and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts • Prepare supporting schedules and transaction data for tax filings • Support statutory accounts preparation and audit queries • Monitor local filing deadlines and escalate upcoming obligations • Act as the first point of contact for finance queries relating to assigned entities • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and HR • Support ad hoc reporting and finance projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred or in progress • 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance operations • Hands-on experience with month-end close and general ledger management • Experience with Xero or a similar cloud-based accounting system • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards • Ability to manage multiple deadlines across entities or workstreams • Good communication skills for internal and external stakeholder liaison • Experience in a multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction accounting environment preferred • Exposure to intercompany accounting and group consolidation processes preferred • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company environment preferred • Familiarity with Southeast Asian, UAE, US, or ANZ accounting and tax requirements preferred
