Description

• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code • Gather and refine specifications and requirements • Triage and correct performance and/or data integrity concerns • Collaborate with other engineers on features and support cases • Create and maintain software documentation • Maintain, expand, and scale Versapay solutions • Remain plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends • Support growth of self and others • Help design for scale and reliability • Spur meaningful discussions around complex and technical issues • Contribute to a high-performing delivery culture

Requirements

• Background in computer science, engineering, and/or mathematics with 3+ years of software engineering (C#) experience • Comfortable working with .NET framework 4.8 and .NET core • Knowledge and/or experience in MVC is a plus • Experience in payments and merchant account processing • Strong knowledge of integrating external APIs • Solid understanding of web applications, security, and best development practices • Strong knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills • Analytical and data-driven • Clear and effective communication skills • Experience with Jira and OWASP top ten • Experience with Postman, Datadog, git version control system, and GitHub actions
