Description

• Assist in enhancing and scaling Voltus' regulatory compliance program based on Department of Justice and FERC guidelines • Appraise new regulations and communicate requirements to the business • Develop, maintain, and improve business practices, procedures, and compliance documentation • Evaluate internal compliance with business practices through spot checks and audits • Prepare audit findings and draft recommendations for corrective action • Communicate audit results, risks, and impact to compliance to management and key stakeholders • Maintain metrics for monitoring audit progress and results • Build and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the Energy Markets team • Manage all annual market certifications

Requirements

• 4-year college degree required • At least 5 years of experience in energy compliance, regulatory, or risk management disciplines • Familiarity with FERC market rules, NERC standards, wholesale tariffs, and state and local regulations • Experience in conducting internal technical and procedural audits • Experience with data privacy and data security compliance requirements a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Self-starter and highly motivated to take ownership of compliance-related initiatives
