• Achieves increased sales revenue and profitability within the Central Texas markets • Effectively sells and communicates the company’s solutions and/or related services to existing and prospective customers • Focus on distributor network and support of their contractors • Complies with all company policies and procedures • Meets or exceeds sales goals and objectives set by management • Creates demand by educating Distributors and Contractors on the benefits of Westlake Pipe & Fittings’ solutions • Performs professional presentations or demonstrations of company’s products and services • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with Distributors and their Contractors, and other key contacts within the assigned geographic territory • Builds and maintains ongoing awareness of industry products and services, competitor activities and other research that can be shared with management • Actively manages travel schedule to cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing professional networks • Resolves customer complaints by identifying problems and expediting solutions • Provides management weekly market activity/results and monthly territory analyses • Works closely with distribution in order to forecast monthly sales volume • Coordinates sales efforts with sales management, accounting, logistics, engineering, manufacturing and customer service groups • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization and value/volume model • Plans and organizes sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for assigned territory • Participates in local and regional trade shows • Ensures that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information • Implements pricing policies within market segments as directed by Regional Sales Manager • Coordinates major bid strategy and maintains bid calendar • Provides pricing, product availability and order status information to territory accounts • Executes the timely preparation of all sales reports, expense reports and assigned projects • Effectively manages a Travel and Entertainment Budget to maximize return on investment
• Must have 3-5+ years' of Sales experience • Must be able to travel internationally and hold a valid passport • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or related field • Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills • Demonstrated track record of exceeding corporate goals • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong technical skills and aptitude; ability to present technical concepts with hands-on demonstrations to customers • Proficient in MS Office • Fluency in Spanish preferred • Valid driver’s license and good DMV record
