• Accurately document patient visits and medical notes • Assist providers with detailed medical documentation • Ensure completeness and accuracy of patient records • Support SOAP note preparation and clinical documentation workflows • Reduce documentation burden on medical assistants • Handle inbound and outbound patient calls professionally • Assist with patient communication and follow-up • Support administrative coordination related to patient care • Assist with patient triage support • Help route patient concerns appropriately • Support clinic administrative workflows and documentation tasks
• Extensive medical scribing experience is REQUIRED • Healthcare industry background required • Pain management experience preferred • Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency required • Strong experience with medical documentation workflows • Familiarity with SOAP note formatting preferred • Ability to capture complete and accurate patient information • Understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows • Comfortable supporting patient triage and documentation tasks • Experience using Athena Health or similar EHR systems • Familiarity with insurance verification systems like Availity • Fluent in both Spanish and English • Professional patient communication skills • Strong phone etiquette and patient interaction ability • Detail-oriented and organized • Motivated and reliable • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Adaptable and able to integrate into existing workflows quickly • No medical scribing experience • Not bilingual in Spanish and English • Weak medical documentation skills • No healthcare industry experience • Inability to work independently • Poor attention to detail in patient notes • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly • Must have relevant work experience • Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory] • Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)
