Description

• Develop flight software per DO-178C and its supplements • Support peer Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and other disciplines • Assist in problem solving activities • Coordinate and perform reviews of software life cycle data • Plan and execute mentorship programs • Help define processes and tools

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electronics, or relevant engineering discipline • Experience with DO-178C and its supplements • Hands-on experience with software development • Strong knowledge of complex electronics • 5+ years of avionics software development experience • 1+ years of experience with MathWorks Model-Based Development tools • Understanding of RTOS concepts and concurrent software design • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and projects across disciplines • Familiarity with reading schematics and hardware debugging • Proficient with Python or other scripting languages • Exposure to SysML or UML • Familiarity with industry standard tools such as Jira, Git, Teamcenter, Google cloud base applications • Highly motivated and self-starting • Strong analytical mindset • Excellent communication skills • Adaptability and problem-solving mindset • Positive team player
