We’re looking for kind, resourceful, and passionate people to join us in building the safety net for self-employment. Hi, I’m Aabhas and I’m the CTO here at Found. Thanks for your interest in Found. Our team is responsible for taking products from ideation to being used by tens of thousands of users every week. We’re responsible for everything from building the product to technical operations (and everything in between such as getting better with outages, improving reliability, and reducing tech debt…) We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer that is excited to build, test, and deploy maintainable code. I personally review every application, so if you have any questions please include them in your application. Some recent team accomplishments include: • Rolling out a net new workflow engine to make long-running and background tasks more reliable, easier to introspect, and easier to retry (Temporal) • Scaling (successfully) our request volume by 100% Month over Month every month for the last 6 months • Rolling out an experimentation and feature flagging framework for authenticated and unauthenticated users across all our sites and apps • Averaging 100 production deployments/month Collaborate with other engineers to build and ship both user and internal-facing features. Determine how we will build, test, deploy, and scale features. Build secure and maintainable code. 3+ years of experience with backend and frontend frameworks. Passion for learning and growing as an engineer and team member. Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React, Javascript, Cordova, MySQL, and Redis. Some experience with at least some of the technologies we use Previous startup experience and/or demonstrated technical initiative on previous projects Experience or interest in financial services, accounting, and/or self-employment Experience as a manager, tech lead, architect, or founding engineer (not required - we are hiring at all levels!) The anticipated salary range for this role is $145,000 - $225,000 . The salary range listed represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements
