• Manage and further develop a defined customer portfolio of clinical and corporate institutions across Germany, Austria and Switzerland • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships at decision-maker and stakeholder level • Develop and implement appropriate sales and account strategies for existing and new customers • Identify and realize growth and upselling opportunities within existing accounts • Plan and conduct customer meetings, presentations and contract negotiations • Work closely with the Ovid sales team and internal stakeholders • Maintain sales opportunities, customer activities and forecasts in a structured manner in the CRM system (Salesforce)
• Several years of experience in B2B sales or account management • Experience in consultative selling and working with complex, explanation-required solutions • Industry knowledge in publishing, information services and/or the healthcare industry (clinical or corporate environment) • Confident presence in customer meetings and structured presentation and negotiation skills • Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce • Knowledge of Ovid products and services is a plus but not required • Excellent written and spoken German and English
