Description

• Senior Software Engineer position at Wonderschool harnessing the power of technology to provide comprehensive support to childcare providers and parents. • Spearhead software development initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development of cutting-edge applications. • Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using TypeScript/Javascript. • Utilize ORMs like TypeORM to streamline database interactions and improve efficiency. • Implement and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and Firebase, ensuring data integrity and efficient performance. • Integrate internal applications and services, ensuring smooth communication and data flow. • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, evaluate technologies for potential application within the organization. • Drive Agile development methodologies, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on TypeScript/Javascript. • Proven experience integrating internal applications and services. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Strong understanding and practical application of Agile development methodologies. Experience as a ScrumMaster is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges. • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. • Frontend and Backend experience with specified technologies.
