Description

• Perform day to day accounting functions including preparing journal entries, maintaining continuity schedules, and accounting for corporate activities • Track grant revenue and related expenses for external reporting and IAS 20 compliance • Perform period-end procedures to meet target reporting dates • Complete complex reconciliations • Assist with year-end financial statement audit • Prepare expense reports and process accounts payable • Assist with analysis of key financial accounts • Assist with development and testing of internal controls • Assist with design and documentation of business processes and accounting policies • Assist with accounting research • Prepare various ad hoc reports and support key accounting projects • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all levels and departments within the company to ensure a seamless and accurate flow of information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent • Minimum of 3 years of full cycle accounting • Demonstrated project management experience • Computer savvy self-starter with an ability to learn new tools quickly • Advanced Excel Skills – Comfortable in functions required to create and work with pivot tables, look up and match functions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience using macros for repetitive tasks, Power BI, and/or Power Query
