📋 Description

• Serve as a senior hands-on technical leader focused on emerging technology and AI experimentation • Design rapid prototypes, proofs of concept, and controlled pilots • Evaluate platforms, integrations, architecture, APIs, cloud services, AI platforms, data sources, vendor products, and emerging technology frameworks • Translate successful concepts into scalable solutions and support transition to engineering, platform, or delivery teams • Provide technical guidance and influence technology choices, architecture patterns, and enterprise adoption decisions • Partner with Enterprise Architecture on platform fit, integration strategy, security, governance, and reusable patterns • Mentor engineers and technical partners while remaining responsible for technical execution • Build working software and integrations to validate feasibility, architecture assumptions, platform capabilities, and risks • Create design artifacts, experiment documentation, technical decision records, and reusable patterns • Write maintainable prototype code and apply build, integration, testing, source control, and automation practices • Conduct technical reviews and provide actionable feedback on quality, reliability, and reuse • Diagnose and resolve sophisticated issues across applications, APIs, cloud services, AI platforms, data sources, and integration layers • Plan and drive time-boxed experiments with clear learning objectives and decision-oriented outputs • Collaborate with architecture, AI strategy, business, security, data, risk, legal, procurement, platform, vendor, and delivery teams • Explain technical concepts, findings, tradeoffs, recommendations, and experiment outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Identify emerging technologies and convert experiment takeaways into technical guidance, recommendations, standards input, and decision criteria

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering • 10 years software development experience • Knowledge of and experience with relevant technologies and platforms aligned to the role • Experience with cloud-native services such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 • Experience with build, integration, and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Maven • Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Java/J2EE, Python, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React • Holds applicable certifications aligned to the technology stack • Familiarity with cloud-native services and architectures • Experience with software build, integration, and deployment tools • Travels as needed for role, including divisional/team meetings and other in-person meetings • Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the United States • CSAA does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants must not require immigration support now or in the future
