📋 Description

• Manage the full national and international payroll cycle through stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely calculations • Process and validate monthly payroll inputs and ensure correct mutation processing for salary payments • Reconcile entries in the accounting system to verify transaction accuracy • Keep the Humanity time and attendance tool up to date and monitor correct processing • Consult with HR regarding exceptions and payroll issues, escalating urgent matters when needed • Interface with external vendors, pension funds, independent financial consultants, and other parties • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements • Act as the point of contact with the payroll provider for tax filings when necessary • Support the Finance team with audits • Answer team member and business partner questions regarding compensation, benefits, taxes, and employee insurance • Identify, lead, and execute payroll process and system improvement projects • Provide relevant support to the Human Resources department • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the US (citizenship, permanent residence, or work permit) • Fluency in English (required) • Diploma or Bachelor degree in HR or accounting • Minimum 3 years in an equivalent role • Experience working in nonprofit finances (required) • Proven track record working in payroll administration (required) • Proficiency with Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks), and data management systems (required) • Experience working with domestic and international PEOs (required) • Proficiency with G-Suite, Timeco, Asana, and Bamboo (preferred) • Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written) • Strong attention to detail • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities • Enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable handling administrative tasks when required • Ability to work remotely with limited supervision • Reliable internet service
