📋 Description

• Build and ship features for the AI Assistant and Orchestration products, including agents, tools and approval steps • Add evaluation cases for AI behavior to catch quality degradation before release • Learn the AlertMedia platform, tools and customer use cases • Develop with Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node and other web technologies • Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude and Codex for development, problem-solving, documentation and productivity • Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins and Slack • Contribute innovative development and ideas related to technology in AlertMedia’s product line • Collaborate with engineering and product teams • Contribute to AlertMedia’s culture, values and vision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred • 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications; Python/Django/React/Node tech stack preferred • Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features, including agents, tool/function calling, MCP or similar integrations, retrieval, prompt and model evaluation • Familiarity with agentic design patterns and frameworks such as Strands, AutoGen and LangChain • Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services required • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis and other storage technologies required • Established practice of writing unit and integration tests • Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex or similar across the development lifecycle • Ability to collaborate with principal engineers and leadership on architectural evolution • Experience troubleshooting and remediating production issues • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally • Strong English proficiency, written and oral, required • Must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future • Candidates must reside in the United States; AlertMedia does not hire in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia or Wyoming
