Alkami Technology is a digital banking software company that provides a cloud-based Digital Sales & Service Platform for banks and credit unions. Its platform combines onboarding and account opening (via MANTL), digital banking, and data & marketing solutions to enable anticipatory, data-driven customer experiences, faster account origination, fraud protection, payment reporting, and personalized marketing. Alkami serves financial institutions (retail and business customers) and offers integrations, developer tools, and implementation support to drive deposit growth, reduce churn, and improve operational efficiency.

📋 Description

• Build deep, cross-platform expertise in Alkami's demo tooling across every product line, front end and back end • Partner with Sales Engineers and sales leadership to identify pain points, gaps, and goals for demo tooling • Design, build, and maintain the next generation of demo tooling using AI-assisted development • Support active deals requiring deep technical expertise in MANTL's API, Alkami's SDK, or complex integrations • Serve as the SE organization's go-to technical resource for demo tooling questions and complex configuration or capability problems • Identify product limitations, design pragmatic workarounds, and feed field signal into long-term platform strategy • Coach and upskill Sales Engineers on technical positioning and objection handling • Track outcomes and report recurring technical gaps that warrant permanent product investment • Champion AI-assisted development workflows across the SE organization

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10 years in solutions engineering or software development roles • Demonstrated hands-on experience building tools, prototypes, or internal platforms against APIs, SDKs, or extensibility frameworks • Comfort operating in customer-facing or pre-sales settings when needed • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Hands-on proficiency in one or more modern languages, e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript or Python • Deep working knowledge of API and SDK design, authentication, and extensibility frameworks • Genuine, hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development tools and workflows • Working proficiency in SQL and relational databases • Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into a coherent technical roadmap • Strong presentation and consultative skills with senior technical stakeholders • Ability to evaluate technical stacks or toolsets and make build, buy, or improve recommendations • Comfort answering deep technical questions on APIs, SDKs, or integrations on short notice • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to prioritize technical gaps • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value narratives • Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for full-time employment • Preferred: experience in digital banking or financial services platforms • Preferred: direct experience building on an SDK or extensibility framework • Preferred: experience building internal tools or platforms • Preferred: track record standing up net-new tooling or infrastructure from scratch • Preferred: exposure to competitive analysis and solution positioning strategies
