📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade applications across the technology stack • Build modern, responsive, and scalable web applications using React and modern UI frameworks • Develop secure, high-performing backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot • Participate in application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives • Develop and support Matter Management, Legal Operations, and Document Management solutions • Build integrations between legal platforms, claims systems, document repositories, and enterprise applications • Implement workflow-driven solutions supporting legal intake, matter lifecycle management, document processing, and regulatory compliance • Design and develop cloud-native microservices and scalable APIs • Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent messaging platforms • Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls • Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and availability • Develop responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Design and support solutions using MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, and document-based databases • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation • Support cloud-native application deployment and operations in Azure and AWS • Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes • Support monitoring, alerting, logging, observability, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams • Translate business requirements into technical solutions • Support testing, releases, upgrades, post-production activities, peer code reviews, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer • 2-5 years of full stack development experience • Experience designing and developing enterprise applications and integrations • Experience with distributed messaging platforms such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus • Strong understanding of cloud-native application development principles • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB) • Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and application security • Experience developing and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS • Experience building and supporting cloud-native, containerized applications • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and similar automation platforms • Experience supporting production environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence practices • Experience building enterprise-scale software solutions and integrations • Experience working in Agile software development environments • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
