📋 Description

• Lead the architecture, development, integration, and support of Legal Technology products and platforms • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, integrations, and event-driven services • Contribute hands-on through coding, code reviews, architectural design, troubleshooting, and production support • Integrate and orchestrate vendor-provided legal applications with enterprise systems • Drive technical decisions involving cloud platforms, application modernization, data management, integration patterns, and AI services • Own product reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence, including incident response and root cause analysis • Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, Legal, Compliance, Security, and Technology teams • Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and intelligent automation • Lead experimentation, innovation, and adoption of emerging AI technologies and legal technology solutions • Manage vendor relationships, product upgrades, integration initiatives, and platform lifecycle activities • Define operational KPIs, service-level objectives, and engineering metrics • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers • Influence stakeholders and engineering teams to adopt modern engineering and AI best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience (Preferred) • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures • Proficiency in Python for automation and platform engineering • Experience designing and supporting highly available production systems with accountability for reliability, security, and performance • Strong experience with enterprise integrations, API management, workflow orchestration, SaaS platforms, and messaging technologies such as Kafka • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and cloud-native data services • Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms • Experience building or integrating AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or related technologies • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar orchestration platforms • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating directly with business stakeholders • Experience in Legal Technology, Compliance, Risk Management, RegTech, or similar domains • Experience with legal research, document intelligence, contract lifecycle management, eDiscovery, or knowledge management solutions • Experience managing relationships with technology vendors and SaaS providers • Experience leading cloud modernization, integration, or AI transformation initiatives • The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
