📋 Description

• Architect and develop software solutions across the full stack • Work with cross-functional teams and backend systems and infrastructure powering financial markets • Contribute to API design and product features • Own delivery of high-visibility features and projects from design to deployment • Mentor peers and influence the company's technical strategy • Build frontend trading dashboards and backend systems for Internal Tools features including elite, high-yield cash, and paper accounts • Deliver end-to-end solutions across Alpaca's frontend and backend systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using a modern systems programming language like Golang, C++, or Rust • 3+ years of experience in frontend development with TypeScript/React • Proficient with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL • Proficient in HTML and CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Proven track record of building user-facing features end-to-end • Experience with REST APIs and WebSockets best practices • Attention to detail and an appreciation for design aesthetics • Algo trading experience (either professional or personal) (nice-to-have) • Experience with major cloud platforms, primarily GCP (nice-to-have) • Experience or understanding of financial markets (nice-to-have) • Experience working at a startup (nice-to-have) • Experience working remotely (nice-to-have)
