📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain systems and services forming the foundation of Alpaca's brokerage infrastructure. • Develop user experiences and product features for Trading API customers across frontend trading dashboards and backend systems. • Deliver end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend systems, including payments, trading, market data, and accounts. • Architect and develop full-stack software solutions. • Work closely with cross-functional teams and investigate backend systems and infrastructure powering financial markets. • Contribute to API design and product features. • Own delivery of high-visibility features and projects from design through deployment. • Mentor peers and influence the company's technical strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Golang & TypeScript/React. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to collect and translate stakeholder requirements into fully realized features. • Proficient in TypeScript and React. • Proficient in HTML and CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS. • Proficient in at least one modern systems programming language like Golang or C#. • Passionate about creating intuitive and performance user interfaces. • Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. • Experience with REST APIs and best practices. • Attention to detail and an appreciation for design aesthetics. • Algo trading experience (either professional or personal) is a nice-to-have. • Experience with major cloud platforms, primarily GCP, is a nice-to-have. • Experience or understanding of financial markets is a nice-to-have. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a nice-to-have. • Experience working at a startup is a nice-to-have. • Experience working remotely is a nice-to-have.
