📋 Description

• Collaborate on the production, modification, and maintenance of flagship public-facing digital platforms, websites, and applications • Work closely with design, UX, and back-end integration teams to develop digital channel-ready assets from layout to function • Develop and integrate web application features, including APIs, search capabilities, and third-party integrations • Convert designs into web assets with designers and UI/UX experts • Optimize websites and applications for speed and responsiveness • Create cascading style sheets consistent across browsers and platforms • Support and maintain the association’s content management system • Perform advanced programming tasks involving web applications, relational databases, third-party applications, and CMS extensions • Contribute to AI-enabled web capabilities, including intelligent search, content discovery, personalization, and recommendations • Mentor and coach other developers; test and debug individual and team work • Evaluate emerging technologies for use in web and business processes • Promote modern web development best practices • Develop and maintain system and application documentation • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Five to eight years of related experience • Proficient in ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, C#, and JavaScript • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, responsive web design, performance optimization, accessibility, and APIs • Deep functional knowledge or hands-on experience with Web APIs, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL • Strong grasp of security principles • Working knowledge of large-scale Content Management Systems for public websites • Experience designing, building, and consuming secure, scalable APIs • Familiarity with cloud stacks and service-based architectures; APA utilizes AWS and Azure • Familiarity with graphic design and/or web/application prototyping software • Experience with front-end and JavaScript frameworks such as Bootstrap, Node, and Angular • Familiarity with integrating AI-enabled or generative AI services into web applications • Experience with Agile framework and industry-standard software development practices • Familiarity with continuous integration principles • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and coordinate with other teams • Expert HTML/CSS/JS coding • Experienced with .NET, MS Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Git, API design and integration, relational database design and development, AWS or other cloud environments, and Agile development methodology • Knowledgeable in front-end development with Angular, Docker, microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD principles • Familiarity with Tridion Sites (SDL Web), enterprise search platforms, AI coding agents, and GenAI service integration
