📋 Description

• Run full-cycle recruiting for high-priority technical roles from intake and talent mapping through assessment, references, offer, and close • Build targeted pipelines through original research, unconventional channels, direct outreach, referrals, and long-term relationship development • Run disciplined pipeline reviews and partner with hiring managers • Turn Andromeda's technical work and ambition into compelling candidate stories • Tailor messaging to candidates, build conviction, and lead closing efforts • Maintain accurate and useful Ashby recruiting data • Use data to identify bottlenecks and iterate on recruiting processes • Experiment with AI to build tools supporting a world-class recruiting function • Improve hiring prioritization, calibration, decision speed, and recruiting data quality • Help shape the recruiting function and take on broader ownership as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of recruiting experience • Track record of exceptional technical hiring • Experience competing for engineering talent against established technology companies • Experience succeeding in a fast-growing startup or similarly demanding environment • Ability to work directly with limited resources and changing priorities • Creative sourcing ability, including market mapping, unconventional channels, outreach, referrals, and relationship development • Strong judgment and influence with hiring managers • Ability to challenge hiring briefs and improve interview processes • Ability to create urgency without formal authority • Operating discipline to manage several important searches • Exceptional storytelling and closing ability • Ability to learn unfamiliar technical domains quickly • Experience repeatedly closing sought-after candidates in competitive situations • Experience with AI infrastructure, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or another deeply technical field is a strong-candidate qualification • Experience building a recruiting function at an early-stage technology company is a strong-candidate qualification • Experience closing senior and staff-level engineers against larger companies is a strong-candidate qualification
