📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance and oversight on the design, architecture, and maintenance of secure software solutions delivered by development partners • Govern DevSecOps implementation, ensuring automated security testing, code scanning, and vulnerability management are integrated into CI/CD pipelines • Advise and guide agile teams in translating high-level government requirements into technical designs and user stories • Evaluate automated build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning strategies • Apply systems engineering principles to analyze requirements, evaluate architecture feasibility, and advise government stakeholders on technical risks and tool selection • Review and refine architecture diagrams, system specifications, and high-level technical documentation • Serve as technical liaison between government lead engineers, users, stakeholders, and development teams • Participate in agile ceremonies and drive continuous DevSecOps process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US citizen • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience • Minimum of 5 years supporting the DoD • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Strong software design expertise with secure development practices • Expertise with Python preferred • Comprehensive understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) • Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security integration • Experience with GitLab preferred • Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud security practices • Proven experience supporting Department of Defense software development projects • Understanding of government compliance requirements and security frameworks • Experience working in classified environments and handling sensitive information • Current CSSLP or equivalent certification preferred • Master's degree preferred • Preferred minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years supporting the DoD
