📋 Description

• Join Arista’s FedRAMP CloudVision-as-a-Service SRE team • Operate the global CloudVision service fleet • Ensure scalability, reliability, and stability of production systems at scale • Drive, develop, and lead projects involving data platform architecture and performance • Perform capacity planning, autoscaling, disaster recovery, observability, and change management • Work on CI/CD, service network architecture, cost optimization, infrastructure, and cloud-first application security • Participate in the FedRAMP on-call rotation • Develop and operate Kubernetes-native CloudVision infrastructure • Work with GCP, GKE, Golang, Python, Ansible/Pulumi, Bash, databases, and OSS projects • Develop, operate, and work with databases deployed directly on Kubernetes or through managed database products

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of software engineering experience • U.S. Citizenship required • Experience managing FedRAMP SaaS environments or other highly regulated systems • Proven experience developing or managing deployments of distributed database systems or large-scale SaaS applications • Proficiency in Python, Go (Golang), or other programming languages • Strong scripting skills in Bash or other scripting languages • Familiarity with GCP and GKE is preferred • Ability to participate in FedRAMP on-call rotation split between West and East coast time zones
