📋 Description

• Develop, support, and maintain high-end and innovative software applications supporting Arthrex’s mission of helping surgeons treat patients better • Write high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code • Actively participate in software development and team ceremonies as a member of a cross-functional software development team • Develop software features using established patterns and technology • Contribute to all aspects of the technology stack, from client-side programming to developing and deploying back-end services • Monitor applications for abnormalities and identify areas to improve application availability and speed • Investigate and address bugs • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and suggest changes • Continuously learn new frameworks, programming languages, and tooling • Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners • Occasionally travel for training, meetings, or trade shows

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • 5 years of professional experience • Programming experience with Go/Golang • Experience writing tests to validate code changes • Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git • Experience using agile software development methodologies • Experience with a deployment pipeline such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Grafana • Experience developing and supporting back-end services in a professional environment • Relational database design and SQL • Experience with message queues and asynchronous processing • Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures is a plus • Experience with PostgreSQL preferred • Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (AWS, CDK or Terraform) is a plus • Bachelor’s degree preferred
