📋 Description

• Partner with regional sales teams to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to deployment • Deliver product demonstrations, system design consultations, and technical presentations to integrators, consultants, and end users • Support specification development with A&E firms and security consultants to position ASSA ABLOY solutions in project designs • Assist with system architecture design covering readers, controllers, credentials, and cloud or on-premises software platforms • Provide hands-on support for product evaluations, pilot deployments, and field troubleshooting • Serve as a subject matter expert on Control iD and electronic access control solutions, including biometric, mobile, and IP-based systems • Gather field intelligence on competitors, customer needs, and emerging trends for product and marketing strategies • Conduct technical training for integrators and channel partners • Collaborate with product management, support, and engineering to resolve issues and improve offerings

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in a sales engineering, applications engineering, or technical support role within electronic access control or physical security • Strong understanding of access control system components, including RFID, mobile, and biometric credentials, readers, controllers, and management software • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, PoE, and VLANs • Knowledge of system integration principles • Experience working with systems integrators, security consultants, and enterprise end users • Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value and business outcomes • Strong technical and customer-facing presentation and communication skills • Willingness to travel within the region approximately 30–50% • Experience with Control iD or similar biometric/IP-based access control platforms preferred • Familiarity with UL 294, OSDP, and SIA protocols preferred • Experience supporting cloud-based access control solutions and mobile credential ecosystems preferred • Background in low-voltage system design or installation preferred • Bilingual English/Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
