📋 Description

• Focus on PNH within Alexion’s Hematology and Nephrology Franchise • Manage a sales territory focused on Academic Centers and Hospital Systems hospitals, private practices, and infusion centers, primarily in Hematology • Grow and expand the PNH portfolio and other products following FDA approval for appropriate specialists • Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory • Create and maintain strategically targeted, account-specific business plans reflecting local market forces • Develop and maintain strong clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge • Educate on clinical approaches to disease states, differential diagnosis, testing, and treatment • Utilize marketing tools and resources, including PowerPoint presentations • Collaborate with aHUS RAM(s), TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), Market Access, FRM(s), PEM(s), Diagnostics, and enterprise partners • Lead implementation of a patient-centric partnership model involving physicians, staff, patients, clinics, and hospitals • Execute local promotional activities and programs for therapeutic areas • Provide product expertise and customer service to accounts • Track activities and submit accurate, timely sales reports • Demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in a hospital environment • Handle customer questions and objections consistently with product indications and sales training methodology, compliantly triaging inquiries when appropriate • Efficiently manage time, CRM tool, resources, and workload • Proactively interact with Alexion management to refine product and market initiatives • Work professionally and in accordance with company policies and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 5 years pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device) or 5 years’ experience in a medical setting • Proven, documented track record for delivering consistent, 'Top-tier' sales results in Institutions and hospital systems • Strong clinical and account selling, analytical and strategic skills to develop accounts • Demonstrated ability to successfully seek out and qualify leads and profile new accounts • Ability to gain consistent access and develop strong, professional relationships for scientific exchange and promotion with healthcare providers in community • Effective verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities • Must live in the geographic territory or live within 50 miles of the geographic territory border • Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis, including frequent overnight and weekend travel • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to travel by public transportation, automobile, train, or plane; work comfortably in a clinical setting; use a computer; communicate via phone, video, and electronic messaging; problem solve; engage in complex and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; and maintain general availability during standard business hours • Advanced or master’s degree preferred • 5 years pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience preferred • Sales experience in the orphan or ultra-orphan area preferred • Bio/pharma; Hematology, and/or Oncology experience preferred
