📋 Description

• Design, implement, and scale the platform’s core backend systems and data pipelines • Lead end-to-end development of critical platform features • Ensure quality, performance, and scalability of platform features • Define architecture and standards for identity management, security solutions, and third-party API integrations • Champion reliability engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code best practices across the engineering team • Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to shape the platform • Collaborate with experienced engineers on full-stack development across backend and frontend technologies • Perform hands-on technical work and high-level problem-solving

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer • Proven track record of leading complex projects end-to-end • Expertise in system architecture and designing scalable, reliable software solutions • Strong backend foundation in Node.js, Python, JavaScript, or similar • Proficiency in modern cloud technologies such as AWS or similar • Experience implementing secure systems and handling sensitive data • Experience integrating identity verification • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution • Experience building and shipping scalable software • Bonus: experience automating complex processes such as eligibility checks or fraud detection • Bonus: experience building systems handling large volumes of sensitive data with a privacy/security focus • Bonus: experience integrating identity verification features such as facial recognition or document verification
