📋 Description

• Deploy and monitor IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions • Implement robust, repeatable, standardized, and advanced technological solutions • Implement automation, services, and infrastructure • Work as part of a coordinated cross-capability team including Core Services, DevOps, Security, and IT Operations • Optimize existing systems and proactively identify potential problems • Eliminate manual work through automation • Work with a team of SREs to ensure seamless, continuous service delivery • Bring service methodologies from concept to execution • Tackle complex service requests and resolve them efficiently • Instrument and measure production-environment key performance indicators • Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications • Scale systems through automation • Coordinate with cross-team members to complete tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance in the near future • 4 to 6+ years in the realm of Site Reliability Engineering • Experience with Juniper networking • A desire to deliver excellence and a focus on meeting user needs • An understanding of cloud technologies and service lifecycle management • Experience deploying capabilities and services through automation such as Ansible or Helm Charts • Experience with storage technologies such as NFS, JDFS, Ceph, and Object Storage (S3) • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Open Stack, or Azure Stack • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving performance issues • Security+ or equivalent, or ability to obtain a Security+ within 90 days • 4-year degree in an engineering-related discipline (preferred) • Active Secret or higher clearance (preferred) • Familiarity with Kubernetes and similar technologies (preferred) • Experience working in cross-functional teams (preferred) • Experience with coding beyond simple scripting (preferred) • Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform (preferred)
