📋 Description

• Partner with Product, Design, and Subject Matter Experts during discovery to define problems, evaluate opportunities, and shape solutions • Own technical design and delivery from discovery and prototyping through release and ongoing optimization • Identify solutions and opportunities enabled by emerging technologies, particularly AI • Serve as technical lead on projects when needed and coordinate engineering work • Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows while maintaining code quality and accountability • Develop prototypes and working software to validate ideas and inform decisions • Design and build scalable, secure, high-performing applications using modern .NET, C#, TypeScript, and front-end technologies • Contribute to product and platform architecture with architecture and engineering teams • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices • Identify technical risks, evaluate trade-offs, estimate work, and balance technical complexity with business priorities • Monitor production solutions, evaluate performance and user outcomes, and continuously improve products and experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of full-stack web application development experience • Strong understanding of software design principles and technical trade-offs • Deep proficiency with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including modern .NET microservices • Experience with Vue and/or Angular and modern TypeScript • Hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance web applications on Microsoft Azure • Experience with containerized workloads and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub • Working knowledge of identity management, access controls, security protocols, and secure software development practices • Hands-on experience incorporating AI coding tools and agentic workflows into software development • Demonstrated ability to deliver software projects from technical design through production • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without current or future employer sponsorship • Temporary work authorization is not eligible • Preferred: experience deploying AI or LLM-powered functionality into production • Preferred: familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, prompt systems, and evaluation methodologies • Preferred: experience in EdTech, legal technology, regulated industries, or complex digital environments • Preferred: experience collaborating with Product, Design, and domain experts in iterative product development • Preferred: technical leadership or mentorship experience • Preferred: ability to independently learn and apply emerging technologies • Preferred: ability to balance architecture, scalability, security, user experience, and business requirements
