📋 Description

• Contribute to the success of one or more projects or products and drive positive outcomes • Scope, estimate, design, and deliver medium-to-large features • Reduce technical debt across projects or products • Collaborate with teammates, external teams, and client stakeholders throughout the SDLC • Develop test plans, test cases, and testing documentation • Track, prioritize, and resolve software defects using bug-tracking tools • Establish quality standards, best practices, and software quality metrics • Automate testing processes to increase coverage, speed, and accuracy for CI/CD pipelines • Evaluate and recommend QA tools, frameworks, and techniques • Ensure testing complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements • Conduct performance and security testing • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies, and Infrastructure as Code tools following DevSecOps principles • Deploy and maintain microservices and APIs on AWS • Develop monitoring, logging, and performance optimization tools for observability and resilience • Participate in security reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerability management • Maintain AWS security, compliance, and governance policies • Manage microservices architecture and orchestration using container technologies • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages with software development teams • Ensure application availability, performance, security, and scalability • Implement system hardening and configuration management best practices • Participate in on-call rotations • Document processes and monitor system logs and activity • Develop, test, and maintain frontend and backend software applications • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and refine requirements • Participate in architecture and design discussions and guide technology selection • Write maintainable code and perform code and design reviews • Debug and resolve software defects • Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides • Mentor and support junior engineers • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives • Assist with estimation, prioritization, and planning of development tasks • Engage in professional development and share knowledge with the team

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship or Green Card only; Bellese does not offer sponsorship • US Residency for at least the past 3 years • Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or x+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a similar role • Git proficiency • Proficient with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and Github Actions • Experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and aws cli • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Strong knowledge of Docker and Amazon ECS • Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components • Proficiency in at least one scripting language; Bash/zsh preferred • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Prior software development experience with JS/TS, Java, Go, or Python is a plus • Associate or Professional AWS certifications are a plus • Experience with CloudWatch and New Relic is a plus • Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB is a plus
