📋 Description

• Develop scalable and efficient Snowflake data architectures aligned with client requirements and industry best practices • Oversee data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration strategies using Snowflake, Python, SQL, and related tools • Design and implement data governance frameworks covering data quality, compliance, security, and metadata management • Engage clients, internal technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Optimize data system scalability, speed, and efficiency; troubleshoot data-related issues • Implement automation for data integration, monitoring, and error handling • Establish data security policies, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, in compliance with industry standards and regulations • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on Snowflake • Deep expertise in Snowflake Data Cloud platform, including data warehousing, security features, performance tuning, and data sharing • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages and frameworks used in ETL/ELT processes • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with their data storage and integration services • Solid understanding of data governance principles and tools, including data lineage, cataloging, data security, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients • Ability to think strategically and solve complex technical problems in a scalable, efficient manner • University sector and/or government sector experience is mandatory
