📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain automated test coverage, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing, across Angular frontends and Symfony/PHP APIs • Maintain and extend the frontend unit test suite in Vitest • Create and maintain Foundry factories and test data for realistic development examples and stable automated-testing records • Perform manual and exploratory testing when human judgment is more effective than automation • Own testing through user acceptance testing (UAT), including writing non-technical test scripts and scenarios for Product and stakeholder review • Triage, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps • Verify fixes and confirm changes do not introduce regressions • Partner with Development and Product to review specifications and acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, and build quality into solutions • Use AI tools to accelerate test case creation, exploratory test design, test data, and script authoring while independently validating outputs • Help define and maintain quality standards, test coverage expectations, and release-readiness criteria

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field required; bachelor’s degree preferred • Relevant fields include computer science, information systems, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, accounting, finance, and economics • Strong ability to understand and reason through complex relational data models, including schemas, relationships, foreign keys, and valid data states • Demonstrated curiosity about how a business operates and ability to learn an unfamiliar domain quickly by asking effective questions and building a strong understanding of expected outcomes • Ability to read TypeScript and PHP well enough to understand application behavior and evaluate whether test code and AI-generated outputs are valid • Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing • Strong judgment in evaluating test quality, including ability to recognize tests that pass without meaningfully validating expected behavior • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through ambiguity, changing requirements, and frequent releases without sacrificing quality • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to translate between technical teams and business users • Working comfort with AI tools for generating test cases, test data, and scripts, or demonstrated aptitude and interest in making AI a regular part of the testing process • Preferred experience with Vitest, Playwright, Angular Testing Library, Foundry or similar factory/seeding tools, relational data analysis, systems/ERP implementation, professional services, accounting, or advisory environments
