📋 Description

• Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, review logs, and verify automated processes. • Perform performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization. • Provision and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage according to standards and project or operational requirements. • Research, develop, and implement innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks. • Provide Tier II support for incidents and requests; investigate and troubleshoot issues. • Maintain and contribute to the knowledge base and documentation. • Influence technology groups to adopt cloud technologies, processes, and best practices. • Propose creative solutions to grow the business and delight clients. • Comply with all policies and standards and perform other assigned duties.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience with AWS or an AWS Certification • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent professional experience • 2+ years of Linux systems administration and configuration experience • Strong scripting skills; Python or Bash preferred • Experience with cloud networking and security best practices • Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions • Experience with DNS and web server configurations • Ability to use AI to quickly learn large, complex codebases • Knowledge of automating infrastructure builds with tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and CDK • Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools such as ECS or Kubernetes • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment • Highly motivated, innovative, self-directed thinker who stays current with technology trends
